Binh Yen Hotel offers a practical balance of value and a few comforts. The location is undeniable, right across from the ferry pier, perfect for island adventures. The view from our room overlooking the harbor was certainly enjoyable-not to mention the convenience of nearby dining options featuring fresh fish. The hosts were genuinely accommodating; they assisted with transfers and even laundry services. We appreciated the free Wi-Fi in the rooms as it allowed us to stay connected while on our travels. The sleeping arrangements left much to be desired. The beds were firm-too firm, some would say-and the pillows did little to offer comfort after long days exploring. While I understand the appeal of budget accommodations, a few upgrades would elevate the experience significantly. Solid doors for guest privacy, better bedding, and perhaps a dressing area or terrace to enhance relaxation would go a long way. For the price, Binh Yen Hotel is worth considering, especially if you're after a straightforward stay with basic amenities, but do manage your expectations for comfort.
