Binh Yen Hotel offers a practical balance of value and a few comforts. The location is undeniable, right across from the ferry pier, perfect for island adventures. The view from our room overlooking the harbor was certainly enjoyable—not to mention the convenience of nearby dining options featuring fresh fish. The hosts were genuinely accommodating; they assisted with transfers and even laundry services. We appreciated the free Wi-Fi in the rooms as it allowed us to stay connected while on our travels. The sleeping arrangements left much to be desired. The beds were firm—too firm, some would say—and the pillows did little to offer comfort after long days exploring. While I understand the appeal of budget accommodations, a few upgrades would elevate the experience significantly. Solid doors for guest privacy, better bedding, and perhaps a dressing area or terrace to enhance relaxation would go a long way. For the price, Binh Yen Hotel is worth considering, especially if you're after a straightforward stay with basic amenities, but do manage your expectations for comfort.
